Lamar is a multilingual Senior Associate at J-K Gadzama LLP with considerable experience in dispute resolution, intellectual property, telecommunications and technology law. He is a postgraduate student at the Paris Campus of the Queen Mary University of London, an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an associate of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators. He is Nigeria’s Representative to the International Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Committee and the Legal Adviser to the Young Lawyers Forum of the Abuja branch of the Nigerian Bar Association. Lamar is ranked as a 30 under 30 rising star of the legal profession by LIFIN under its LIFIN Excellence Awards 2022 and recently received a worthy ambassador award from the Abuja Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Lamar graduated from the University of Reading in 2018 and was called to the Nigerian Bar the following year. Whilst at the University of Reading, he served as the President of the African and Caribbean Society as well as the International Student Representative of the Law Society. In recognition of his efforts, he was awarded the Reading Experience and Development Award by the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Lamar has worked in the firms of Kanu G. Agabi and Associates, Olujinmi and Akeredolu LP, Adegboyega Awomolo and Associates and most recently, Olaniwun Ajayi LP.
